Barbara A. Horton Duncan, 86, died Thursday, October 06, 2011 in Savannah, GA.

Mrs. Duncan was born in Newton, MA on September 15, 1925, the daughter of the late Roy William and Lyda Butler Horton. She worked for 18 years as a Nurses Aid for the City of Boston and also worked at Kroger in Savannah. Barbara was a lifetime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was an avid bowler.

Mrs. Duncan was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Joseph Duncan; daughter, Nancy MacDonnell and son, Robert Joseph Duncan. She is survived by her daughters, Helen MacPherson of Savannah, Ann Orischak of Fleetwood, PA and Glenda Firlotte of Halifax, MA; grandchildren, Lyda Jean Bailey, David Daniel MacPherson, Belinda McQuire, Robert Firlotte, Harry Bertoti and Patricia Guinther; sister, Phyllis Harrell; fourteen great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Service: 6:00 p.m. Saturday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place in Randolph, MA.
